What data we process, why, and what your rights are. Short and plain.
Who processes your data
The controller is 4Ads s. r. o., Bočná 126/10, 949 05 Nitra, Slovakia, company ID 57 370 621, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Nitra, section Sro, file no. 68293/N (trading as Motionweb). For any question about your personal data, email adam@motionweb.ie. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the law does not require us to.
When you contact us
If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we process your name, contact details, your company name where given, and the content of your message.
- Purpose: to reply, prepare a quote and agree on a project.
- Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for other messages, our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- How long: for as long as the conversation lasts and then no more than 3 years after our last contact. If we sign a contract, we keep the contract and accounting records for 10 years as required by Slovak accounting law.
When you browse the website
On every visit your browser automatically sends technical data, mainly your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. Our hosting provider Cloudflare processes this data to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use this data to identify you.
Fonts, images and videos are served directly from our website, without any third-party services.
Cookies
The website currently uses no cookies and no analytics or advertising tools. It only stores two technical flags in your browser's session storage so the intro animation does not repeat and page transitions run smoothly. They contain no personal data, are never sent to us and are deleted when you close the tab.
If we add analytics or advertising in the future, they will only run after you consent through a cookie banner, and we will update this page.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data. Only the providers we need to run our business work with it:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting and website security,
- Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.: email (Microsoft 365),
- WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.: if you contact us via WhatsApp,
- an external accounting firm: if we sign a contract with you.
Some of them may also process data in the USA. Such transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing and to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just email adam@motionweb.ie and we will reply within one month.
If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk, or with the data protection authority in your country. In Ireland, that is the Data Protection Commission, dataprotection.ie.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
